• Added 6 new countries as database options and to the header above.  Also added a spot for the U.S. Marine Corps.  I did this because the USMC had almost entirely different equipment and requirements than the U.S. forces fighting in Europe.  I don't know if it'll stay that way.  Because these countries usually didn't produced their own weapons, I've decided to sum up their arsenals in one easy page instead of breaking them down by services.  If I get enough information about a country to justify breaking things up into sub-categories, then I'll do so.

• No updates recently because of a problem with my new Comcast "Piece of Shit" cable modem.  Granted, they don't market it as "Piece of Shit" but they should.  In other news, you can check out the newly reactivated September 11th section of my site.  For those of you that don't know, I was at the World Trade Center when the attacks happened and spend a lot of time at ground zero immediately afterwards for the rescue / recovery operation.  You can read about it and see my pictures here.

Banned from the forums again.  Yey!  Another 30 day suspension for telling a guy that something he did in the past might constitute cheating.  Not talking about cheating, or informing people how to cheat - just pointing out that exploiting a bug that was fixed over a year ago was cheating.  I even did it in a nice way with no profanity, four letter curse words, or personal attacks (email text). Banned!  Interestingly enough, a dozen Axis bashing threads saying a lot worse than I did in that post are still up and running just fine.  I think it's funny (or sad) that a game about World War II supports a group of vindictive forum moderators keeping Nazism alive and well on the internet.  Oh well, at least I have a way to work off some of my frustrations.

• I know updates are slow lately, but I'm in the process of moving to another state and my time is somewhat thin.  That aside, the big update I'm working on for the site is more behind the scenes, although it will provide the viewers with a new host of tools and information.  I raided the archives at Aberdeen these last few days and got a lot of info, and you can expect to see some pretty neat updates shortly.
• Expanded the tank and artillery databases.  Now if you look at a tank or an artillery peice you'll see all the types of ammunition it could fire and they're penetration values at the bottom.  Many of you asked for this and now you have it.  
• I unlocked the "Artillery" section for all nations so you can see what the potential RDP modeling choices might be.

August 13th

• That move took longer than expected, but at least now I live 20 minutes from the Aberdeen Proving Grounds and a virtual mountain of military weapon information.  I picked up documents on over 300 aircraft and 100 artillery pieces already, it's just a matter of picking which ones to put in the database.  Check back later for updates.
• Two new screenshots are available for the Panzerkampfvagen IV Ausf. G and A15 Crusader Mk.III in development by CRS for Tier 2, to be introduced later this year.
