September 2005
September 28th
  • Sorry for the long delay in updates but it's been a busy two weeks. I've been working overtime to cover for people down in New Orleans, I've had to do a bit of traveling, and was my birthday, my daughter's 1st birthday, and my girlfriend's 30th birthday all rolled into a two week time-span. Updates should resume at a normal pace in October.

September 14th

  • I'll be away for a little bit, so no updates until at least September 20th.

September 12th

    Navigatori Class (12 units)
    Trento Class (3 units)
    Littorio Class (3 units)

September 9th

  • Changed the way the Warships display page looks. Instead of seeing simple ship data, you now see data for the ship, the guns, and all the aircraft the ship might carry.  When I can, I'm also going to include all the ships of that class with their own details. Here's an example.
  • Added the following units to the database...
    Essex Class (26 units)
    Supermarine Walrus
    Bismarck Class (2 units)
    Hood Class (2 units)
    Scharnhorst Class (2 units)
    Lutzow Class (3 units)
    Arado Ar.196A-3
    Z1934 Class (4 units)
    Z1934 Class (12 units)
    Dunkerque Class (2 units)
    Richelieu Class (2 units)

September 8th

  • Added five new video clips to the Multimedia section.
  • Note: The Warships section of the site, which had previously been destroyed by a malicious person attempting to copy and then destroy my website, has been recovered. While there were once 50 ships in the database, there are now only 26, but it's better than nothing.  The warship section will be going through some major overhauls in the next few weeks, so please be patient if it goes up and down. Thanks.

September 7th

  • Added the following units to the vehicle database...
    M10A1 Wolverine
    M22 Locust
    M4A1(76)W Sherman

  • Moved July and August front page updates to the archive.
  • Added a new site to the Links section...

September 1st

  • Added four new video clips to the Multimedia section.
  • Note: Bandwith held up last month, so I'm going to add another 50 megabytes of movies to the site this month and see how it goes. I just uploaded 12 mb today, and more will follow as the month goes on.
  • Added a new feature to my site: The Corkboard
  • Note: I really hate the fact that freeservers, my web-host, does not support forums. While I have no great desire to build, maintain, and admin my own message board, I thought one might be useful from time to time. The only thing handy at the moment are these corkboards, so I'll give that a shot. This is for a trial basis. If the majority of the exchanges on the corkboard wind up on the subject of Hentai porn or other non-WWII related material I'll close them down and find something better.  Anyone with a better idea is welcome to email me or post on the new corkboard.
