About the movies...

The films below are not original works filmed by me. Most of them were either purchased by myself, collected from the National Archives in College Park, or found during my endless online searching for everything World War II. Like most people I've talked to, I was unhappy with the slim pickings of quality WWII video available on the internet. As a result, I went to the National Archives and got about 1000 hours of original WWII footage, a lot of it in digital format. These are the same videos the History Channel uses during their various specials and are of very good detail and quality. I'm slowly going through the footage when I can, marking the sections I want to rip, editing mistakes, and hosting them here.  I've edited a title into each film to help identify units or events, and there's a small plug for my website which is hosting the clips. I have a fair  amount of bandwith to use, but please right-click, save-as whenever possible. If you have any videos to contribute, please send them to my email. Thank you and enjoy!

All videos are 640 x 480 to ensure quality, and Windows Media Player is recommended to play the clips below...

Policy on Remote Linking & File Sharing I have no problem sharing my videos with others, however, I respectfully request that the videos remain un-edited.  Lately I've found my videos hosted on sites like www.youtube.com and www.google.com but the credits have been removed.  If you want to upload my videos to one of those sites or host them from your own site please do NOT edit out the titles and deny me credit for my work. The alternative is to put a Tarrif.net logo on every frame of the movie, and I currently don't do that because I think it takes away from the integrity of the work as well as being very annoying to look at.  I hope you understand. Thanks.
